Accident on M6
Just heard that :
A serious accident involving a number of vehicles has closed the M6 in Staffordshire.
The motorway has been closed between junctions 15 and 16 following the accident near to the Keele Services.
The Central Motorway Police Group report that there are a number of casualties and that the motorway could be closed for a several hours.
M6 traffic has tailbacks of many miles on approach to area in both directions. The A500 and other routes around Stoke are very congested with diverting traffic.

"Four people have died in a major accident on the M6 motorway on Wednesday morning.
A lorry travelling south crashed through the central reservation, colliding with a box van and two cars travelling in the opposite direction."

Took my mum 1hr 25 to travel 6 miles.
Just come down the A500 and seen a white Transit type van going the otherway on a transporter. Looked like the front end had been flat packed.
Being late home... at least we've made it home...
