Mikee, mine was the silver K-plate WRX + gold wheels. I asked you when you were going out on the Northern Loop in the afternoon, but I think you left before us.
Not to worry, I spent my time on the loop fending off two Skodas!
Skoobidude, glad to hear your problem is fixed - I was the WRX at the back of the 2nd convoy on the way across to Notts in the morning.
Shame me & Rachael didn't mix too much with the Derby crew at Grunthorpe - there were just too many cars to look at, and many other things to do.....including as buying stickers and an exhaust off Salsa-King!
Great day out, hope to see you all again soon!

Dave, Sorry we went without you - we were parked just down the road waiting for you and then Mikee and I drove back into the field to look for you but your car had gone...and we didn't know your name to ask!
I've suggested on one of the other threads that the Derby lot get together for a mini meet or just a pub meet maybe and I think a few of the others would be up for it...what do you think?

I would be up for a mini meet if the misses allows it!!! I was the silver sport in front of Dave on 2nd convoy.
Good day, good weather. I am buying new tyres today so that I can keep up and stop easier next time u turbos go off for a fly!!!!
Paul
Also my mate was well impressed with all the scoobies and the fun drive from Derby.

Hi,
I'm up for a Derby meet, especially if we can persuade Charlie to do us a route. I think he's organising a midlands south Tour o'Derbyshire as well at the moment.
PS: I was the old git in the WR Blue MY01 sporting a new spolier.

Lizzy,
don't worry about missing us - I think it was partly our fault for turning LEFT out of the pub instead of right!! Thanks for going back to look for us. We had fun playing with the 2 Skodas and listening to TaviaRS's bus-like brakes every time we entered a village!
Paul, glad you had a good time. Unfortunatelly my camera equipment isn't pc-compatible (35mm stills cameras, and no s/w for the video!). Hope to have some pics by the end of this week/early next week which I'll post in here as soon as.......
Dave
PS Derby meet - deffinitelly up for that - complete with new exhaust!!

I forgot about the restrictor in the pipe. I was too preoccupied watching the skinhead and his m8s under my hood.
Which pipe? There's 2, one out the bottom, and one out the side with an elbow on. I presume it would be the bottom (straight one).
Won't it restrict my turbo-boost pressure in doing that?

soory i missed everyone on the way there (and back)
i did see Charlie Whiskey and Flat 4 there and said hello to Hanslow
there's obviously plenty of new members for a decent meet in derby
so any takers for "the small one"

i've been thinking about it , might not suit everyone though, tell me what you think, won't be affended
May 19th - Donington Park's 25th anniversary meeting and the DTM is in town
think it might be more of a see you there than a meet
