Intro & pics: Me & my 2006 WRX STi Spec-D PPP
Hey all,
First post on here... looking at spreading some love between here and SIDC.
I'm an IT Consultant by trade, specialising in small business IT system, my background is in Windows server systems, networks, systems admin, systems design etc...
I play badminton in the Cambridge and Newmarket leagues and I live near Cambridge, UK.
I used to have a MY2003 Silver WRX SL, but chopped it in last year for my current car - MY2006 STi Spec-D PPP.
Thanks,
Psy

The difference between a stock MY2003 WRX and a 2006 STi PPP is amazing.
The main thing I noticed was the responsiveness and urgency. The STi is so much more punchy. Having an extra 100 or so bhp helps too.
The STi is more thirsty, but that comes with the territory.

Welcome! Very good looking car. Congrats.
I used to play badminton, for almost 10 years of my life. Unfortunately I hurt my back and was forced to abandon. I really miss it, though.
cheers from madeira

Thanks clayman. More upgrades on the way, mostly handling but maybe a few to add to the visuals ;-)
I had a few years out from badminton due to tennis elbow, but been playing for nearly 20yrs. I play in men's div 2 in the Cambridge league and sometimes in on of the mixed teams in the Newmarket league (but only as a ringer).
It's hard on knees and ankles though!
