Default Scooby No.4

Picked her up to day. It's great to be back in the fold.
What clinched it is that it only cost £240 to insure.
My boy seems to like it!

Shame it costs you more to tax it for a year than the insurance for a year lol

I can live with that. Plus it gave 28mpg on the first tank.

So happy to be in another impreza.

Just some light restoration really.

Alloys need a refurb, front end needs a respray due to stone chips, couple of parking dents on the doors and a some engine bay tidying required.

Not looking for massive power increases. Running an Afterburner Vortex sports cat system at the moment so probably 240 - 250bhp. May be a remap to bring it up to 280bhp ish. Although this is dependant on cost as i'd rather spend the cash on the areas I mentioned above. It used to be around £700 as I recall?

Mechanical, it is spot on.

One thing I do need though is a parts manual!
Do the ones on eBay give you specific part numbers?

Nice looking Scoob, thank f**k it's not blue LOL!

Aside from what you've mentioned I would change the spoiler or go spoilerless. Other than that it's spot on

Cheers Chris. Agree about the spoiler, needs a decent rear wing and may be a black front splitter to complete the look. She drives lovely though. May be I'm getting old but I don't feel the urge to go for more power any more. Quite happy with the near standard car.

looks nice mate, i've just come back to impreza's after a break soo great hearing that burble again. Duncun of Race Dynamix is an ace mapper and i'm sure it was more like £350 - £400 when i had my bugeye done a couple of years ago
