Default Some pics of my 01 wagon

Hi Guys,

I have recently had my wagon remapped by Duncan @ Racedynamix and felt like going for a little blast this evening just for the sake of it. Whilst I was at it I thought I would take a few pics and describe what has been done to it so far and what my near future plans are.

Engine:
3" straight through system
Green cotton panel filter
Chav valve
Sti top mount intercooler
Standard TD04 with race dynamix remap Running 1.3 bar
Grim speed 3 port boost solenoid
Perrin inlet

Wheels & suspension:
Whiteline solid drop links
Pedders coilovers ( Aussie brand )
Goodridge steel brake lines
Lenso D1R monoblock alloys, powder coated in gun metal ish grey.
Front and rear strut braces

Body:
high level and waist line spoilers
debadged
sti scoop
after market front grill
morrette headlights
saloon front wings
rolled rear arches

Interior:
pretty stock, just benefits from the x3 Defi oil pressure, temp and boost gauges.

This is how the car stands right now, I plan on fitting a better quality set of wings and replacing the stone chipped bonnet. Along with this next month it will benefit from a black Ht autos front lip and black skirt extendors, eiback camber bolts front and rear and 12.5 mm spacers to widen the stance and a full geo set up.... and the dent is coming out of the rear quarter, and if I can afford it dome better rubber the month after, and if anyone can help I would like some rear spats to drop the rear profile of the car?.... Sorry for waffling, some of you may not be interested but its given me something to do for 45 minutes at least.
Cheers guys
Dan

It was mapped on the road, I will dyne it next month and hope for the 280 mark ish. To begin with the engine really was not happy and was knocking back by 12 degrees at the top of the rev range, stalling it out. Duncan did a top job and it feels really nippy now.

It's off or a copy of a blob Sti scoop, a bug Sti one would suit the lines of the car better imo, a lot of people do fit the blob ones to bugs, I considered it a one point. It's all personal preference I suppose, still a really nice car though.

Cheers, I think my brother has a spare scoop knocking around from his bug, might stick it on and see what I think. Don't suppose anyone knows where I could get some rear spats from do they? I would like to lower the profile of the rear bumper without having to change it for a jdl Jobbie.

Saw your car 3 times last week in NM (MK18) and going through the village next door. Very nice. Next time I'm down we can meet up if you fancy a drive out

Didn't think I'd find another bug wagon even in the same post code

Looks very tidy, but the scoop is too edgy for the rounded bug

Hi fella, love the colour of yours. Where a bouts are you ? My brother has an 01g silver wagon also, he is in Aylesbury. I'm only a few doors down from the pub, if you see it parked up come and knock. I would definitely be up for a chat and a bimble.

Yeah... Messing with how things should be ! Still love it though. Just need to get the rest of the mods on to widen it's stance and make it a bit meaner.

Yeah Im very jealous of your morettes - I ordered some recently off ebay and the bloke sent me regular Bugeye lamps, claiming he couldn't send me the morettes for the price agreed. Annoyed wasn't the word!

Yeah when I'm next down we'll definitely go for a spin. I've got those wings for mine too, just looking for a saloon front bumper to match...

Got any shots of the engine bay?

Not of the engine bay at the moment. It's pretty standard looking just with an st top mount intercooler.
When your down next ? ...away with work?
