hey everyone i just thought share couple pictures of my dad old 22bs and little bit of a story how we got 2 uk spec 22bs . right well we went to Birmingham nec when they first came out my dad put his name down on 1 but got refused . about 3 months later my dad had chance to buy one with 5k miles on clock uk spec one. he loved it kept it standard had about 35k on clock then listers in Worcester rang us to say they had another one with 500 miles on the clock fair to say my dad went down to buy it the next day . then we ran it in for about 6k miles made sure it was well run in before he did any mods to it . so week after it had 6k miles on clock my dad decided to send it to prodrive where he spent about 25grand on it getting it to 483bhp and 0 to 60 in around 3.5secounds with top speed of over 185mph . bored out to 2.5litters. to say it was fast was an understatement. shame to say we got rid of the 22b years ago .

Very nice, it's not everyday you hear a story about someone who owns 2 22bs, let alone a heavily modified one. Have you got rid of both or just the one?

They were £42k new so am assuming £80k plus 25k mods thats a 100k.

The one above clinic sold about 2 years ago had been down a small ditch repaired then sold with 60-70k on the clock.

thanks everyone ye they are rare tbh my dad sold the first one about week after he sold it we got told it be written off the owner had put the power all to the back wheels on the diff and spun it .

ye my dad paid 46grand for the first one . and paid around 52grand for the 2nd one. when they first came out . we was told at the time by prodrive it was the fastest uk road 22b in the uk .
