Default black brembo's

Has anybody come across these black brembo calipers thats onb my type r, ive just bought the car and the seller had no info on where i can get pads for it. the pads are mintex xtreme mdb1968x i think by looking at the faded/dirty code on the pad. Im struggling to find this pad through the internet tho ?

the callipers are all the same so i was told last year when looking for an upgrade for my dads car, i know my brembos use the same pads a my work mates classic scoob with them fitted

I compared a pad from these to an old pad i happened to have from my hawkeye with gold brembos and the gold brembo pads are quite a bit bigger than these black brembo caliper pads .

Is it possible those are not subaru brembo's? They look slightly different although that may just be the picture.

Here are a set of black brembos from a hatch.

That calipers is called the Grand turismo caliper , and is the baby Brembo calipers , this is the pad size that fits them

Those calipers have much better clearance than the regular Gold or Black STi Brembo's.

Stick with what Ian says, he's the expert and will sort you out with new pads and can do pretty much everything else when it comes to brakes.

Hi mate, any more pics of the car, looks similar to one i went to view a couple of years back, it had these calipers on which i thought was unusual at the time.
S reg with 2.1 engine tuner stroker?

Yeah ive put some pics on photo gallery 'my cars past and present' with a silver blobeye on cover.

This is a p reg type r 2.1 stroker i bought about 2 weeks ago , was on ebay/piston heads over last 6 weeks or so. Im well happy with how it shifts !

Nice looking motor, but not the one i went to view a few years back ,that was an s reg. Good job really becuase the one i went to view was a shed, had a good spec in advert form but when i viewed it was a joke (rust, scratches, bits missing etc), thankfully this isnt the one you bought.

Anyway, enjoy your new motor buddy
