inconsiderate w**kers!!!
im sure everybody (THAT CARES) understands my upset but my local road to work has been resurfaced yesterday night, this morning on the way to work 7:30 i had no choice but go that way there was all lose stone covering the road advised speed limit says 20 to for a reason!! all i had was a**holes overtaking me at what seemed like well over the 60 speed limit and showering my car in stone, never used my horn and as many hand gestures at the same time in my life, my car did have some chips on it before but now it looks like a f**king chalk board!
as you can tell im rather annoyed, i dont even want to wash the rest of it i feel it looks that bad! rather it stays out of site till i can get it repainted! :'(

Oh no, sorry to see this damage mate.
roads on my route to work have been re-serfaced this way, and I cringe as you hear the stone pinging off the underside, and thats at 15mph, Have the mud flaps fitted so probabley helps keep the stones off the side panels.....
But have never been over taken like you had, sure they thought I can get one over a Impreza here, most people have the same road sence as I do, and take it easy.

Exactly the same happened before I moved house.
The reason the roads are like that is because they are saving money.
One of the reason why I would never consider a big respray of bonnet/front bumper unless 100% required because it will end up the same in a matter of days around here.

I've got an inch long gouge on the bonnet lined up nicely with a chipped windscreen after my route to work was resurfaced with loose stones - what is more annoying is that they spread it over an already crap surface and don't even bother to sort the potholes, I feel your pain

imaging driving down a dark country at about 40-50mph completely unlit then all of a sudden you see this infront of you! stamped on the anchors as hard as i could but still hit it at about 30 BAM! solid shock though the car, stopped immediately obviously checked the car and amost cryed at the amount of damage caused!

I had my wagon shotgun sprayed with resurfacing chips a month or so ago by a kindly soul on a big motorcycle. When I gave him the horn and indicated my displeasure he simply put his back wheel in the loose stuff and gave the front of my car a machine gunning, a total pr**k.
Hope you can get it sorted it took me 3 hours lots of patience and touch up paint to get rid of the worst chips.

They useless tw@ts recently "resurfaced" a section of road to my girlfriends house in this exact same way and people just don`t take any notice of the speed restrictions. No doubt I picked up a few extra stone chips!
