My new 'Wagon' :)
After looking around for a while, I finally found a buyer for my 182 and a few weeks ago bought my first Subaru.
****ty pics as it was about to rain and I was blocking a private road after driving around trying to find a queit spot yesterday:

....and I bloody love it!!
Standard car other than RaceDynamix remap, WR Sport rear box, resonated de-cat midpipe, Green panel filter and Walbro. After the 182, it feels like it runs out of puff a bit high in the rev range, but that's probably down to the big rush of torque you get as it comes on boost. Certainly launches well anyway!! Feels like it has endless grip as well, always well planted. Not as crisp on turn in as the 182, but doesn't feel as 'on the edge' either.
Near future plans include -
Straighten the wonky horrible numberplate
De-tango & probably go for the black inners as well
Replace the flaky and too dark (for my taste) wheels - I've got a mint gunmetal set on the way
De-cat uppipe
Colour code the skirts
Give it a bloody good machine polish!!
In the long run I may switch to 18's and a slight drop, but it's nice having something that's fairly comfy but still holds the road well. STi winglets and splitter are on the horizon as well, although not sure if I'll keep the fogs or go for STi fog covers as well (minus the STi badges ).
Thinking along the lines of the slight drop, if anyone can suggest a setup that will lower the car a little, but still retain a non crashy ride? Some of the roads around here are pretty ****ty, but the standard WRX setup soaks them up well.
So all in all, I'm happy wth it

nice example buddy, agreed the wheels do seem too dark.
Are you replacing them with another set of standard wrx wheels?
have you looked at the Eibach pro kit springs?

Cheers
Yes, for now, I've got a standard set of WRX wheels in the gunmetal colour on the way. The tyres on those wheels are literally brand new, so made sense to swap them to another set of 17's or get those ones refurbed for now - the setf of wheels I have coming were far cheaper than going down the refurb route so will swap tyres on to those.
Later down the line I may switch to 18's as they do look far better on the newage imo, just wasn't worth wasting a set of new tyres yet.
I've read conflicting opinions on Eibach springs. For every other marque I've owned, something like Eibach or H&R would always be recommended, but on here I've read mixed feelings. Ideally I was thinking about finding some Prodrive springs, but gather they don't come up for sale that often.

I have a silver wagon to with all the mod's (plus more lol) you have listed. I have the scoobyworld stage 2 performance handling pack and the ride height and handling are superb.
Pic if it helps buddy.

I too love the wagons, I have the old shape ones only, think this shape is far better than the saloon...and your model is just so right too...
I am a Ford racing puma man, I still own mine, I like the clios too, very similar car to the FRP.buit heavier, more power than a normal FRP too..not sure a scooby handles as well as a clio and definitely not an FRP without a bit of work...havent done much work on my scoobys yet but plan to...certainly the suspension needs a bit of work...
still learning about them for now...
