My respray is slowly coming on
Had my silver type r for about a year now after a good few up grades this year I now gone for a colour back to yellow . It's not original yellow I have chosen but a Honda Indy yellow which hasa slight pearl. Well here some pics as of how we got on .

Yea in booth for paint in morning mate cheers for all the advise u have given been great . I can't wait but nervous at same time . I got another 2 litre s of base and pearl today I wanna make sure if did need more it all from same tins ect lol I worry to much

I didn't relise how much prep involved all I been doing is degreasing engine bay and rubbing and rubbing panels with 600 lol my fingers sore lol

A friend of mine. Don't say that this why I'm crapping my self hope it works . Would hate Ryan to say told u so yellow no good on scoobys go for a nice grey . Lol

sorry bad pics all i phone pic s. There all day today used 5 litres and run out ahhh really wasnt covering to well. obviously isnt finished but what you guys think?

oh dear u find that on my photobucket lol? yea relly does look with the pearl when we opened the oven doors that lead out side when sun hit looked very nice cant wait till al fitted up and polished.?
engine looks very tired tho now lol anyone steam cleaned theres?
Any ideas what colour to spray strut brace ends and bits and bobs like fuse box covers etc?

Looks a nice job,personally i would add some black bits just to break up the yellow....

i would do but want carbon bits and got some already and i dnt think it would work to well . what u think?

the graphics on this car they are the standard rear quaters and boot
will break up the yellow i think

Sorry to the OP when you said yellow I was hoping that it was this shade not the one you have gone for. This sits right up there with my favorite colour for the impreza, think it looks the nuts on the 2 door shell.
Looks like a cracking job though, good stuff and as long as you're happy then that's all that matters.
