Default My New MY99 Wagon

Hi this is my new MY99 Wagon UK Turbo in Dark Blue Mica

I've previously owned a 385 BHP Evo VIII, but I'm really enjoying my little Impreza!

I bought it as a cheap bit of fun as I can't justify having lots of money sat in a car at the moment. Already booked a trip to the Nurburgring in July

It's pretty much standard apart from a full decat, and STi back box

I don't really have any massive plans for it, but if I get on with it well enough I will probably sell it and get a Blobeye Wagon

More pictures....

On Saturday morning I dropped the missus off at Lancaster Train Station (at 0500!) so she could go to work.

I needed to be in Darwen for 0800 to see the lad who maintained my old Evo. I couldn't be arsed going home, so decided to go the long way around instead.

Nothing beats going for a drive first thing in the morning (when later on, the roads are full of coffin dodgers and Sunday drivers doing 3 mph). All I had to contend with were flocks of sheep, and the odd pheasant or two!

Route roughly as follows:

Lancaster - Quernmore - Jubilee Tower - Trough of Bowland - Dunsop Bridge - Whitewell - Longridge - Ribchester - Wilpshire - Blackburn - Darwen

Anyway, a few pictures...

Rekindling my romance with Shell on Caton Road, Lancaster after a 5 month absence from 'proper' cars at about 0530

Jubilee Tower near Abbeystead at about 0600

Again, near Jubilee Tower

Trough of Bowland near Marshaw at about 0630
