Default New tints

Just picked it up with some nice new tint on the windows

I'm happy

Only had them done today, so tonight will be the first drive. I'll let you know how I got on.

Took a drive last night and all was great. Had no problems. Got them done in Ipswich, window film centre.

Never had tints, do they show you the different shades available then and the difference between the legal and the not so legal!!

Yes AWG, the place I went is really really good. They have all demo glass with different tints and a demo car with different tints so you can see what you want, and what is fully legal.

cheers buddy, AWG basically the rear 3 can be as dark as you want, the front side windows can not legally have any tint

Shane, about the front windows, that can have some tint but it is very minimal, and off the top of my head I can't remember the %, but just found this on the net,

For a legal window tint in the UK the specifications are:
a) Motor Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985
b) The light transmitted through the windscreen must be at least 75%.
c) The front side windows (to either side of the drivers’ head) must allow at least 70% of light to be transmitted through them.
