Smile My new to me Scoob!

Only owned the scooby a couple of weeks, but have finally had the chance to give it a bit of a clean and take some photos.

Lots of plans ahead, mainly tweeks to prepare it better for track use, but what do you all think so far?

I'm not a big fan of those scoops on bugs, I think it spoils the nice rounded lines. Seats are awesome, have a set myself. Nice looking bug

Do you jump on the site just off the the A1 south of Wittering?

Used to jump at Weston-on-the-Green but haven't done it for about 15 years

Ok, so spec:

2001 Bug eye
Engine rebuilt / upgraded by API about 2 years ago
Exedy performance clutch
Forged pistons
Steel rods
Pink injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Ekutek 3 map
Forge DV
Prodrive back box
Sports cat
Prodrive Sparco FiA bucket seats
Sparco steering wheel
6 point OMP harnesses
Harness bar
OMP gear ****
All manner of bracing and drop links underneath that i'm still getting my head round
Full carbon fiber bonnet
High level rear wing
Lifeline extinguisher system (although not fully installed yet)
Tien fully adjustable suspension
Braided lines at the front
Currently pushing about 300 BHP

Next plans are:

Intercooler spray (DIY)
New center pipe on the exhaust system
Set up the suspension correctly
Replace the brake discs / pads all round
Add braided hoses to the rear and fill up with race spec fluid
New ECU
Carbon boot lid
New wing
Different wheels and rubber for track use

Personally, I love the big scoop. Each to their own I guess

Jon - I jump all over, but yes, Sibson is my home DZ

I did a short course and got 13 jumps in with a VGATW on dummy pulls. I would go back tomorrow if I had the time. I've also flown powered aircraft and done some aero instruction in gliders, but I need to stop spending on the car to afford all these other hobbies. Hopefully I'll get the next job I want and does some HALO stuff for work

Yes mate, that's why I trained at Weston. Biggest issue is time - between now and the end of June I'm in country for about 3 weeks and one of them I'll be doing some military camping

Still, with a wife and 2 kids as additional hobbies cash is limited

I will get back into gliding and jumping as well as learn to fly a helicopter when I finish the current job
