That looks sweet, I would like to do this to my car to but scared to do it in case I f**k it up as head lights are not cheap to replace!

Think you calipers would look even better if the lettering was painted white

Keep a close eye on the drilled holes in them disks. They have a habit of cracking ! Grooved are fine, but drilled have a bad history on Scoobs as they are a heavy car putting a lot of energy through the brakes.

Detango looks good

How long is a piece of string ? Do you use the brakes a lot ?

When I was a novice driver I used to get 20-25k out of standard disks and 7-10k out of pads. Since learning Roadcraft I hardly ever use brakes and expect to get 40k out of pads and never want to have to replace disks. A smooth driver with good hazard awareness, anticipation and planning should only need to brake if they have made a mistake, someone else does something stupid, or you are coming to a complete stop. Apart from that speed should be modulated using the gears to keep the car balanced and in good control even at excessive speeds.

Looking good!

We've not had any issues with that disc/pad setup. We are careful to recommend the right disc and pad combo to suit the drivers needs. That particular pad is not hard on the discs. Glad you like them
