Bovington Trackday Pics
I went on a trackday today at Bovington Army Camp(Dorset) a charity trackday with all proceeds going to Help the Hero's. A great day with a great mix of cars, GT40, F430 scudria , M5's and one less M3.
150 cars attended to take on the 4 miles of track but only 146 left by their own steam. A mates Type R suffered bottom end failure but atleast it left in on piece.
Here's a link to my pics of the cars that attened, there are to many pics to individually post so click the link to view.

A 205gti that hit a concrete post!

I went for a passenger lap(in the wet) in this EVO 10 FQ360
What a fricking car!!! i couldnt beleive its grip and how well it handled in the wet.

Yeah the track was awesome/dangerous. Blind crests curves dips slippery bits chicanes and LOTS of CONCRETE.
There were no run off areas, if you run off you hit either a tree or conrete, hence the massive damage.
Was an awesome day, and i loved the track, though it was quite challenging, BIG thanks to the organisers, and i hope the people who caused the big accidents havnt cause this from happening again.
Also first time ive had a track briefing outside from a mahoosive Tank
Ill get some pics and vids up tonight/tomorrow if i can.
Damn photobukcet doesnt work at work !

yeah saw you driving off at the end there. What was the damage in the end? just cosmetic n rad or more serious engine mounts or something?
Ive got in contact with the photographer from northloop. If anyone wants a CD with their pics on (has about 30 of me), i can give you his details.
20 quid and it all goes to charity.

Pug is terminal, bent the engine mounts and disturbed the rust that appeared to be holiding it together, we really just bodged it, fitted a new rad, lights and drove it home. It's now waiting to be re shelled.
Was a good day though I would definetly do it again.
Gutmann pug you have mail.
