Default Picked the wagon up...and some questions!

Picked it up...with hardly any fuel..bad times..so wadged in some v-power!

but im

sounds so amazin and drives like a treat!

here are some pics

Few questions

it has receipts from powersation for SUB R/R LINK KIT and an ANTI-LIFT/CASTER KIT and a receipt from demontweeks for SUB FR LINK KIT H/DUTY...errmmm what are these?!

Also is it normal for the engine to tick when its turned off...and a little when im sitting at lights, like ping...ting...tick not a constant knock or anything..like little stones pinging every now and then

Sorry im a noob!

Its a bit different on here compared to CCUk

Sounds like your scoob has come with some nice handling mods. Both of which I'll be fitting to my Scoob soon.

As for the ticking, is it ticking from the engine contracting when its cooling down?

Ticking is almost certainly cooldown of the engine/exhaust- my old one used to do it for a while after the ignition was turned off, nothing to worry about I'm pretty sure.

Lovely car, well played!!!

Looks a lot like a Haywood and Scott silencer too- exhaust geeks will confirm/deny that, bet it sounds luvvly!!! Jammy git.

Looks sweet Glad you’re pleased with it.

As the post above says… handling mods front and rear along the lines of drop links and anti-lift kit I reckon. Give PS a call to confirm what the part numbers refer to.

My old MY99 wagon ticked and pinged when cooling down. I think it's mainly the exhaust that does it or a heat shield.

Sorry to be negative or a good news thread... but have you got all the mods declared to your insurer?

They'll have a field day if you crash it and their assessor finds suspension and exhaust mods not declared.

yeh man insured the eibach spings and the exhaust (just classed as aftermarket) as i knew it had that already

guessing they need to know about the other bits? I wouldnt even know where to look to see if they are still on there

With bell and they are awesome to deal with n offered me a spanking price!

nice motor, similar to mine when I first got it...but with more mods, prepare to encounter mod-wallet-rape

Squadron Leader gives excellent advice, worth listening too; agree with his detective work; front and rear drop links and anti lift kit
