After the wash:

After the claybar, wax, wheel and trye stuff:

Can't wait to do the Golf now!

So, has anyone else wasted 6 hours on cleaning their car as it's mighty addictive and damn expensive

When I was my 205 Gti mate, I usually spend 8 or so hours in total on it. Thats without claying usually too... wash wheels/car, dry, polish windows, seal wheels, polish exhaust pipe, polish car, wax car, black in a flash for trim bits. Then hoover inside, shampoo mats and carpet, wipe seats with leather cleaner, do dashboard/door trims etc.

Hopefully doing this keeps the value up on an appreciate future classic.
