Default Scoobysport Cibie's

I picked up a set of Cibie's from ebay for £30.

A couple of quick questions, how do I wire them up and how do I adjust the spotlights.

On the adjustment side of things, ok I know how to adjust up and down but left and right ?

Am I correct in thinking putting washers behind the mounting bracket to adjust left to right.

Also is this correct for the relay:

TERMINAL 86 TO EARTH POINT OR BACK TO NEGITIVE BATTERY
TERMINAL 85 TO MAIN BEAM WIRE
TERMINAL 87 TO EACH SPOTLIGHT
TERMINAL 30 TO POSITIVE BATTERY

Don't orry about left/right adjustment. Those are driving lights, not spots, and their spread of light is very wide. As long as they are pointing roughly straight ahead, you will have plenty of light. Up/down adjustment, though, is crucial. The beam spread is not very high, so it might be a good idea to have one aimed slightly higher than the other, but overlapping. With 100w bulbs in, these are VERY bright lights.

Right fitted these lights this morning in the pi$$ing rain. Something looks fecked up with them, they stick out by bloody miles.
I had to pack the drivers side out by 15mm to straighten them up as they pointed inwards.

Anyone got any ideas whats going on with these ?

On the add they stated it was "Subaru impreza classic and bug eye driving lamps"

with the following pic

Well, if you bought them from the pic on the bottom there, which is what my Cibies look like, then you've been had, mind you, £30 even just for the lamps is damn cheap...... the 'original' scoobysport ones had a stainless plate bolted to the back of the lamp so they fit snugly in the foglight hole...... as per the pic....

To me these look like they should fit a newage car and not a classic, but I could be wrong.
