Wide Front Wings?
Has any just fitted the Wide front 22B wings and not done the back?
I've got some rust on my panel, down by the passengers door, but is it still part of that panel, replacing it will be easier than getting it welded over, smoothed out and re-sprayed.
I was thinking of putting the wide kit on the front from HT Autos, but as mine's a 4 door, I dont want to be messing around with the door skins for the rear.
If anyone's put front only on, how does it look?
Thanks,
Mike

There are other wings you can put on which are about 1/2 as wide as the 22B ones, so fit in better with a standard back quarter.
Pm 'Stickymicky', on here, he used the front wings I'm on about.

door skins are bonded over the tops of the rears, with a little bit cut away around the stock door handle for the modified rod to pass through.
they are then blended in at the front + rear edge, although i never did the bottom edge as nobody can see it anyway.
wheels are et+35 18" audi rs4 replicas, i had my hubs converted to "audi spec" so they fit properlly with 0.5mm custom stainless steel spigot rings made up to suit.
they dont fit without mods as nobody makes up the correct size spigot rings (0.5mm size)

Not trying to Hijack the thread....
I think HT Autos would be your best bet, they're closer. I got mine through a vendor in the US.
Here's an engine shot, just to prove it's not, 'all show, no go'.
JDM Ver. 8 powertrain
Thanks! It's a great Track day car, and still street legal, So I can use it for beer runs!
It gonna be Featured in a US auto mag, Modified Magazine, the November 08 Issue. Once I do a few more things to it, maybe I'll try and get it featured in a UK Mag, maybe Redline, Max Power, or Banzai. (Those are the only ones we get regularly here). It's No Gobbstopper or Zen car, but it's was built by me on a shoestring budget less than 1/10 of the size of the RCM car, so I'm happy with what I was able to accomplish.
Back on topic.....
I think it looks really good with just the front flared, I'd like to do the rears too, but to do it right I figure it would set me back close to $10k US, figure the widebody kit (Which would be in CF), 5X114 hub conversion, new wider wheels & tires, etc. Once the power levels require more room for tires, then I'll jump on the Widebody bandwagon.

HT autos dont do the do-luck ones
mine came from "advan" on the american version of ebay, they are do-luck reps, and to be honest, fit like a complete bag of **** LOL
question for john, that front bumper you fitted, is it the wider 22b/wrc version, or the "thin" stock gc8 "style" version pulled out to meet the wider arches ?
was looking to do the same myself but could never work out if i need the wider bumper, or the thinner one LOL
