Default Defi gauges and KS3 fitted :)

Hi,

I just fitted a set of Defi gauges and couldn't wait to get some pics up

I fitted them without the centre pod as i don't really like the look of the pod. Tell me what you think?

Thanks
Harry

I'm not a fan of the New age centre pod, but I don't like gauges on their own either.

There are other pods avialble, pillar pods, replacement stereo panel, heater vents and so on. One of these may tickle your fancy.

Love Defi gauges. These are what I would love next. I like them in the pod, although u loose the clock, but aye time does fly in these cars .

Are they tricky to fit yourself, I dont think I could tackle this myself, I'd end up wiring them so they read the weather, and wind speed. Save that for a pro I think.

£460 is the prices I have seen for these, the 3 gauges, control unit, but no pod!.

Good work though!, lovley car

I'm actually quite amazed considering the price and the "hey look at me... the valuable gauges stuck in the windscreen" location that there isnt a crime wave of defi thefts going on lol

That set up would do my head in. Nice gear but surely can be fitted neatly? TBH mate it looks like mine did a few years ago after some **** smashed my window and tried to pinch the PSI Monitor

The KS3 is very easy to install. On my car it has picked up a high knock count on several occasions, i don't know if this is accurate at the moment but my car is going in for a remap next week so will be able to find out if the engine does suffer from detonation, I'll keep you updated.

Thanks

Just placed an order for a centre pod from Nomad racing, it is made for three 52mm gauges so i think/hope with a little modification it should be able to accept the three 60mm gauges
