Cool A Couple More Small Mods For Me.

Well I thought it was time to show the latest couple of small mods on mine.

The struts are a larger size than some you see but with my bonnet I'm happy for the extra size as it's a uk car the steel bonnet is quite heavy and they handle the weight really well.

Then come the wipers....

I've never liked the wing part on the drivers side it looked ugly to me and all the imports don't have then and look so much cleaner so I went for a set of Sti wiper arms and some of those Sparco blades.

I could never see the scoop decal before from the drivers seat...

As a reminder here's the old one...

How's that

Get yourself some P21S Total Auto Wash - P21S Car Care and Detailing Products it's great then pluck up some courage with the hose, first time I did it the sweat was running out of me... I think that was the panic but since then I have become a lot more relaxed with it and have lightly dropped the hose over a few times to get the dust off.... then use 303 Aerospace Protectant - 303 Car Care and Detailing Products over the engine hoses and cam cover afterwards it's good gear Just get some cling film over the alternator, coil pack and MAF and that should be safe.

If I was closer I would give you a hand.... only just into wales here anyway so Swindon is not that far in the great scheme of things.

Yes I know it's quite daunting to take on I took loads of advise and spoke with my mechanic first, but it was still frightening that first day.... I only really washed the top then front and over the the passenger side as having the other turbo fitted I was able to get in that side and dry clean everything when it was stripped, and when I wet it I did it in small stages rather than soaking the hole thing like some do... fine spray on the hose equauls a small amount of water

Nice mods you've done...

I too have a set of those Sparco Aeroblades on the way cos my drivers side wiper always seems to stick when its vertical before changing direction to wipe back down again, makes an irritating clicking noise when driving in rain. Are the Aero's smooth and quiet?

Looking good Si

The silver scooby sport is still going strong with a whole host of new bits and bobs on it.
Still not quite in the same league as your turbo though. . .

Just come back from a service in heavy rain and they are smooth and silent
