don't do it. i don't it ages ago to be different and now everyone's doing it. i feel like i need a big spoiler to be different now.

joking aside, go for it. makes the lines look so much cleaner imo. i've never looked back. i added an m3 lip spoiler onto mine. but nothing at all looks better i think.

From the pictures yours looks quite nice without the spoiler and personally I'd say it suits it more without it.

If I was doing it myself I wouldn't bother. It'd be like taking the vents and scoops of the bonnet and making it look like a sport with a turbo personally except your only taking the spoiler off it.

Should try it for a little while and see if you like it without the spoiler on, one thing I hate the spoiler for is the fact it runs through my rear view mirror but wouldn't look the same without it there.

Does it make a difference to the way the car feels without it?

Looks utterly crap without a spoiler IMO bit like a proton but if you like it then do it

If you go ahead, just make sure you keep your face out of the way when you open the boot - the hinge springs will whack the lid up without the weight of the spoiler!!

sssshhhh was keeping that bit a secret

easy way to sort it it to tape a couple of lumps of lead to the inside of the boot lid.

The reason why i've never added one to my car is:
A) I don't draw "as" much attention to the car (incognito)
B) Spoilers, especially the high level ones weigh a fair bit and i wanted to keep the weight down.

There are not many people running without spoilers in the UK so go ahead and do it and f*ck what the haters say.

Good luck
Rich

Had the low level spoiler off mine for a few weeks earlier this month - not sure if it suits a silver classic?? Certainly looks different though!
