Just collected today my new UK STi and went for a blast along with Dave UK 300.



Aplogies to the old fella in the Audi estate nr Mickleton !!!

 

Not much diff looks wise from the front are they. All I can see is the larger scoop and STi badge.

 

The front grill is slightly different...

oh and there are a couple of changes under the bonnet !!!

i do like the STi lights better than the UK300's sorry dave
you can see the front gril differance too..it lips onto the bumper.

Hi, Ithink i must be missing something here!

You r lucky enough to have the new STi, and all that is discussed are the lights, spoiler and bumber.

COME ON !!! lets find out how it is to drive, faster (obviously) firmer or even more fun.

I may be a Scooby Newby but surely its more exciting than above comments, any mods planned - or r u happy with it as it comes ( do u recon it even needs any changes?)

Bring it on, lets hear all about the new machine we've all been waiting for.

By the way, have you heard the rumours of a completly new redesign nextn year by Prodrive?

Did your car come with the fog lamps or did you put them in?

 

Well, bearing in mind that I didn't go over 5k revs and only did 150 miles this is a first impression.

Feels marginally faster that my old 98 turbo but the big difference is the confidence you have to tackle any corner at much much higher speeds. Roadholding is unbelievable. Best thing to do is go and test drive one for yourself, don't listen to someonelses opinion, make your own mind up.

Extra lights are PIAA driving lamps by the way, just hadn't managed to prize off the covers yet !!

Off for another few miles today.

What can I say.....nice!!!

...definitely prefer the front end of the STi better to my WRX...anyone got any styling bits in the pipeline????
