Hello from a Newbie
Hello i've just registered and i thought i would introduce myself.
I'm 27, and i've recently become the owner of my first scooby in the form of an 03 WRX STI, i've wanted one for years and i'm not dissapointed. Although the love it has for petrol stations was a bit of a shock initially after being used to a mondeo TDCI (worth it though)
I had an initial niggling problem with the CEL light coming every few days (misfire on cylinder 1), but the dealership were excellent and (fingers crossed) it hasn't come back for the last 3 weeks. They replaced spark plugs, coil packs which i'm told are the usual culprits, but it seems like it was a MAF sensor as that was the last thing they replaced and trouble free motoring since then.
Hopefully pics are available via the profile. If i've done things correctly
I think this forum is excellent and has been a great source of info, for my steep learning curve in all things subaru impreza.
Cheers
Cookie

I've spent up for the moment, so i want to get some saving's together again, which i think is wise when owning these type of motors just incase the unthinkable happens, as i know things don't come cheap.
If things go to plan i'm hoping to get the PPP on sometime in the summer.
