I don't know how many people have done this on your side of the pond but over here quite a few people are going back to the classics. I have both and I am strongly considering selling the newage scoob to get rid of the car payment. Besides the classic looks so much better imo.

I've worked my way up the classic ladder, had a silver 'P' plate uk turbo then a 'V' plate uk turbo with slight mods and now got a P1.
Unless I can afford a Type RA-R then I'll be keeping the P1.

I am considering keeping my 05 STi as my beater and picking up a STi swapped 2.5rs in the near future. Of course I probably wont because everyone keeps telling me I need a Z06.

Just done that mate, sold my 2005 STi Type UK PPP 4 weeks ago and picking up my STi 6 Type RA WRC V-Limited in the morning.
I had a go in a mate's STi 6 and fell in love with it, just a more raw experience and what a scooby should be like. I never quite got along with the newage for some reason.

lol Elmer you love your car too much have to save your pennies in this day and age! I have invested a lot of money in far too many properties (dreams of being a tycoon one day) so I had to consider my costs.
Got a 3rd kid on the way (kind of unintentional) so to avoid giving up my love of fast cars I decided to sell the newage and downgrade to a far better car The money I have saved I can reinvest into the car... *cough* I mean getting the kiddie stuff ready.
Hopefully if my employer pulls their finger out next year and gives me the pay rise they promised I might have to consider a Spec C/Type RA-R or that nice looking ST204.
So unlike us mere mortals you gonna upgrade to a newer model or one of the rare breeds Elmer?
