Cheers guys, i do have some more plans for the car but nothing mad, want a nice front splitter and maybe a different rear spoiler but undeceided on that at the moment which one to get. I would like some big brakes and some more power, only up to 300bhp though as i dont want problems, i do track days in it and take it to the ring each year but i do keep it as mint as i can, will get the bonnet and front bumper resprayed at some point next year too as the dreaded stone chips are starting to show but apart from that im very happy with it and have no plans to sell.
Scooby slammed, very nice mate, thought it was a pic of mine until i saw the ride height, have set mine so as not to catch on any speed humps around where i live, how did you get on with it that low ?
My old golf gti used to skip all over the road when i had it at that height so im playing it safe now, nice motor, looked mint.

That was the height I kept it at... it drove very well round the twisties, but not ideal round town with pot holes...
I put up with it as it look mint...
It didn't catch bumps if you hit them right...

Just got rid of My STi type R... running big BHP on modded EJ22t block ( 2.35 )... LOL
Really miss it... but just recently got my 1st house with the misses...
Had to be done...
I'm now running round in a 51reg 306 hdi estate ( ideal work horse )
And building a MK2 Orion running a 2 litre zetec turbo lump... Should be fun... fingers crossed will be finished for April 2008... Its on I tighter budget to the Scooby, but should be fun running near 300bhp through the front wheels...
And anyone who knows me and has seen my previous cars, the work done to the car will be 100%...
I may have another Scooby one day... but for now the money has to go into the house...
The Orion will just be abit of fun, i'm only 25... lol

Chuff me, that type r looked fantastic, black cars are a bitch to keep clean aswell, i have no doubt that the orion will look great judging by your last 2 scooby pics, not the most popular of cars but with the right money im sure you will build something that looks and goes well and that you can enjoy. Im a ford man really anyway, ive had various cossie's over the last 10 years and have only just sold my last one for house reasons. will have another soon enough. Needed a reliable fast everyday car that i can track and the scoob fits the bill perfectly. Send me some pics when you get it on the road, dont see many now, have a mate building an orion too but he's been doing that for 5 years now so dont no if it will ever see the light of day.

The golf also looked fantastic, you cant go wrong with those, always make money selling them on and the volve engine in the 5, at least it wont overheat anymore, also looked good.
You no i dont even remmember what colour his orion is, he is a member of the south yorks RS Owners club, has been rebuilt but with an RS bodykit, i think there is only bits to finish but after all that time i think he has lost interest. Dont know about the bodykit, some look good and some look sh!te.
