I've just put a competition clutch stage 2 in mine, got it from Darrel @ scoobyworx. My car is a 2.5 forged running 440/440 and it's fine,no juddering and the bite isn't harsh

here is is,if you enter sn10 @ the checkout you will get 10% off

also if you have a paddle at the minute chances are your flywheel will need skimming

No it's not a paddle one at the moment,it does have a lightweight flywheel,so the CC one should be fine for some hard launches

For launches your not going to get the best unless twin excedy or the likes.
But some single plates can take a bit of abuse, but I wouldn't buy if I was planning to launch it

Paddle clutch's on the road are a bad idea, there really aimed at big power.

I'm amazed no one has mentioned the ACT Offerings.
As good as the Exedy twin plate is (I've had one myself) The ACT stuff is superb and around half the price of the Exedy Twin Plate

No 5 speed will hold the power unless you put different gears in them, wich alone cost more than a 6 speed box..
And while you already need a 6 spd box, stock sti clutch will hold 430hp/550nm fine.

I been through lots of clutches. My favorite would be the Cusco twin plate & Carbonetics 4 pad unsprung, very harsh engagement & a lot of noise but boy does it launch! Very snappy. The ACT full face organic sprung disc is good for a daily, can hold upto 570 lbs but didn't find it to good for launching. I used this in a few of my dailys

your on a standard engine as per your other thread, as i said there to get they power levels you will need around 10k to do it right, forged engine twin plate clutch 6 speed box good brakes ect ect ect and many other bits and bobs, id aim for around 340bhp which will be quick enough in a classic unless your wanting to spend crazy money to do it correctly
