I have never done it intentionally as certainly don't have any photos - I am sure at the time I would have been more concerned about not soiling my pants.....

Shweet!!
When I was having my sideways fun over at Croft I was really supprised to find how easy it was to throw into a bend and hold the drift.Im not bigging myself up or anything but it was such a nice feeling when you come out the other side of the bend after being 45 degrees with youre foot to the floor, you cant help but smile!!
I just thaugh I might of struck gold by sticking this thread up and see a flood of pictures sharing the same feeling.
Doesnt look that way thaugh.
Cool pic Edcase.

I know what you mean. I found drastic lift-off was the only way to get it sliding mind, not like my E39 M5 I have now, drifting is just a flex of the right foot away!!!

Yes , my arm was hitting the floor everytime it went over , and it rolled 9 times , good job it was on grass !
No I dont have the M3 anymore , I recently sold it to someone in southern Ireland , I built it up from scratch over 2 years , 315hp , 6 speed sequential , it was a lot of fun
