Last day out/shamless whoring
The old girl is off to bed for the winter so she had her last wash and run out. It gave me chance to post some pics as it does not get washed that often, my mate had his steam cleaner out so I treated the old lass to a bit of truck wash and hot water.
Winter mods are - water/methanol injection, move the air filter to improve cold air feed, uprated discs and pads on the rear, sx fuel reg, another remap and a proper polish. And find a good looking grill....and that will do.

Certainly looks like a lovely clean motor! If only i could get tucked up for the winter and come out next spring!?
This may be a silly question but what wheels are they? and what size??

It already has an FMIC doesnt it
Looks awesome, just how a type ra should be and spoilerless is the future. No need for the extra weight on a "race Altered" model

If you can have a car just for summer/weekends then why not? I have always had a second car as a hobby/weekend car it just so happens that my current one is a scoob, plus it keeps the paint work tidy and keeps the miles down.

Ra's have little or no underseal and road salt makes a real mess of the underside, plus the scoob is just a hobby and not my every day car, I get just as much fun out of pulling it in bits and tuning it as I do driving it.

Cheers mate The yoko's are great, lots of grip and seem very good in the wet and like you say the tread pattern looks v cool Not sure what the wear rate is like yet as I don't do many miles.
I use to run yoko A510's a few years ago and they wore quite quick. The guy who sold me them sold they were develeped for the Jap market, but it may have just been a sales pitch......

Nothing wrong with that, It's nice if you can afford to run a second/weekend car and keep the miles/costs down. The trouble with using them everyday other than the running cost is you never seem to get chance to carry out little repairs.
Over the winter I am making a cold air feed for the induction kit which will take a few days to design and build, something you could not do if using it everday.
