What silver wheels for MY07 STi.....
I'm looking to get some silver wheels for MY07 STi, I do like the standard gold alloys but IMO some silver wheels suit the car better, my STi is in WR Blue.
Any recommendations or even better some pictures would be much appreciated....
So far some of the whhels that I have looked at and liked are:
Kei Pulse
Kahn RSV
OZ Ultraleggera and Super T's GT
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2
ATP 9 Razze Inox
Also for those that have a hawkeye STi and made the transition to 18" rims, what difference did you notice in handling, ride quality etc??
Thanks in advance for all replies!!

Why not just refurb your gold ones in what ever colour you want?
I don't like gold wheels, but the do look the best for the WR blue IMO. Anthracite would be better than silver if you are determined to change em.

Yeah I was looking at those yesterday and really like them in silver, had a look on your profile and they look really good on your scoob.
However, do they do them in 18", silver and with a fitment of 114.3PCD and an offset of 53 or so?
The fitment on a MY07 seems to restrict the choice quite a bit.
Cheers

18's are better IMHO especially if you are stepping up the power.
Not a fan of silver on blue, but these would look pretty special in gunmetal

I have decided that I want some Rota GRA's in silver or steel grey.
Te sizes available are:
18 x 7.5 +35/+45/+48 5h x 114.3
So I am guessing for MY07 STi it will be the 18 x 7.5 +48 114.3?
Here is the size chart:
ROTA Wheels - GR-A
Would that fitment fit MY07 STi ok as I thought the offset was something like 55?
Love the wheels, just need to know if they would fit, any ideas??
Although I do like the look of the Rota P1s in black with the red lip:

You are currently running 17x8 JJ so be aware if you go GRA you will be putting on a thinner wheel. Best size to go for is 18x8 ET 48 on 235/40/18 tyres. No point in having a wider track if you put on WRX size rims and tyres. Lots of companies will offer 225 width tyres regardless of the wheel width. In my experience wheels wider than 7.5" need a 235 tyre or they offer almost no rim protection, can tramline and sometimes look stretched.

With GRA's only going up to 18 x 7.5 would you then say that they are a no go then?
How much of an issue would it be fitting 7.5s?
If that is the case it could be the P-1s at 18 x 8.0 ET 48.

V5-APS,
That looks really smart mate, all comes down to personal preference but I really do prefer silver wheels on blue.
