going back to the original topic after above diversions . . .
RallyeX, nice Evo
but the black painted louvred sheet of metal under the bonnet grille is fading - dead easy to remove as it's only a few screws from the underside. Remove it and give it a coat of black heat resistant paint (I used black hamerite bbq paint). Should be able to use same paint on the wire mesh in front of the intercooler for any chips there too.
