Picked up the new car last Wednesday - gleaming - and then on Thursday morning took it down to Wales on a 750 mile round trip to watch the Rally!

Still got a few things to do - Rallytech spoiler, Eibachs etc, HID headlamp option, but you get the idea.

Cheers
Chris&Sal

Wink

I've told him he's not allowed to clean it for at least two weeks to preserve that 'just got back from the rally look'

He's starting to twitch about it already, pacing up and down looking at the sponge

Cool

Very nice mate, wasn't sure when you described the wheels but they look really nice on.

How are you finding it now you've had it a bit? How does the Prodrive BB compare?

Having the Defi gauge pack fitted to mine on Thurs

And a trip to Scoobysport on Sat

Cheers

Thanks for the comments Jim - If you are at Bedford on Friday - we should be there too.

Simes - the car is very good - exceeded my expectations so far - goes aswell (if not better)than my old car (and the engine is still very tight). Handling is a lot better - less understeer and the ride quality is in another league. I would be interested to see some pictures of the Defi gauges and a trip to Scoobysport or similar is on the cards (as soon as the 'check engine light' problem has been solved with de-cat exhausts).

Cheers

Coolio,

Was this the car you were planning on buying? Regardless, it's groovy mate, well done.

Nice car Chris, but then I am biased!

Have you checked out the suspension forum, Prodrive have released new springs for the MY01 only. With a drop the ride height some (along with the benefits of better handling to) and with those rather nice wheels...

The rally look is interesting but I like the shiny look no matter what people said at the Watford II meet (Sal).

Just wait till you get PPP, so much more fun!!

Cheers guys

Cem - I was originaly going to buy Carolyn T-S's car but she has wisely decided to keep what is a very unique (apart from Daves ) MY01.

This one came up at the right time and price, so I decided to go for this one.

Cheers
