Default My new toy

Hi there we'll I'm back from the dark side after a brief affair with an EVO VI Tommi Makenin that lastest no more than a week. But thats another story!!

Anyway I'm now the pround owner of a MY05 STI with PPP and lots of other Prodrive goodies including wheels, short gearshift (it really is like a rifle bolt and is up there with my old CTR that I had around 5 years ago). Anyway here are a few pictures of it and I can't wait until Saturday as I'm off to Le Mans in it, we'll it would be rude not to considering I only live 45 minutes away from the place.

lOOks stunning. The wheel colour works well with the grey car.

How was the Evo6 Makinen? Evo6 is a dream car for me, and i'm sure the Makinen edition would go through with the wifey, having Finnish connections n'all.

The Tommi was a cracking car (very raw) unfortunately the car didn't turn out to be in 'collectors condition' as was described by the garage I bought it from. FYI it was Xtreme automobiles in dudley formally know as Ralliart UK. However the STI is a corker as well with a very different power delivery than the Tommi. I haven’t had much time to put the STI through its paces yet, but I had a little play yesterday on some back roads and it was bloody awesome.

Very nice car mate, I had been considering taking a look at it when I saw it on the Auto Trader
I read all about the Evo on the MLR

Aye, i know Xtreme. So did it go back under those false pretences?

Be interested once you've put the STi through it's paces to compare the two.

if you follow this link http://www.lancerregister.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1 you can read all about it. If you read the comment from the brianless uneducated idiot that slags off the French, I'd like to comment that I'm English. Just thought I was buying from the best in the business. If I'd wanted a bag of spanners I would have bought a car here.

Bloody 'ell, that's bad. And i thought only stuff like that happened to me

Well at least it's all sorted!! And you're back from the Dark Side too, can't be bad. So go and get some miles under your belt so we can get a comparison, although it sounds like you didn't get time to give the E6 TME any stick. (Didn't know they did it in white neither.) -- Holding their price well too. £18k
