Default 2004 WRX with new Coilovers and AP 6-pots

Thought Id show some up to date pictures of my 2004 WRX with its new Eibach coilovers from Revolutions demo car, and my AP 6-pot conversion.

The only problem is with the car lowered is that I had to remove my Scott Lowe front splitter, which I thought made the front end of the car look really nice.

Hi Scoobyboy1

Looks excellent

Have you only just got round to fitting the suspension recently?

Nice car.

I kept banging my Scot Lowe splitter on my similar Black STi with ProDrive springs - managed to break it in the end and had to remove it.

Now got coilovers, but my front end is not as low as yours, and not as low as the WR1 I was in Wales with yesterday. I think I will need to drop it a bit, looks nice when it is lowered and the wheels fill the arches.

I fancy some AP 6pots and the rear spoiler on mine too. Unfortunately my track wheels are currently 17inch so would not fit APs, and I am too much of a coward to replace the rear wing with the aerofoil one

Looks delicious mate.

Got my 18" P-WRC1's going on next week, I hope mine looks half as good as yours on them !

Lowering your car has made your alloys look bigger than in previous shots i've seen, certainly fills the arches better with a lower ride. I've got PD springs so at least that what I am hoping.

Shame about the splitter, but I don't think its looks the worse for it.

Top ride

Coilovers where put on last month, only just got round to taking pictures of the car with them on.

Defiantly one of the best mods I put on, I can take roundabouts much quicker now, and the ride feels less wobbly to the standard WRX suspension and it feels much stable at high speeds, and Powerstation did a brilliant job fitting and setting them up along with there geometry set-up.

Hi mate,
Glad your finally getting your P-WRC1's, you will have to post some pictures when you've got them on.

Splitter had to be took off the car, as I have loads of speed humps round my area and I didnt want to risk smashing it up, but I have kept the splitter so that I can put it on for shows.

At least you can now tackle the speed bumps without the having to worry about damaging the front splitter that my thoughts anyway.
Sell it & replace it with some gauges. lol
Its the same reason why Ive not gone ahead with a P1 splitter for mine, especially when I get the springs for it.

Your car is looking even better now, bet it handles too.
How far can the adjustment go on the lowering (not being sensible) & how much did you lower it in the end, drop wise (mm)
What type of adjustment have you got on the shocks front & rear.

I still cant stop thinking about the performance of your AP brakes, amazing.

Alright Az

I was going to pop round on Sunday, but after Football and the fact I had no petrol I thought I would leave it,

I'll try and get down sometime next week, and you can test the car yourself to see how much of a difference the coilovers have made.

I know that the coilovers can be lowered upto 70mm, I think Powerstation dropped it 30mm at the front and 25mm at the rear, and along with the alloy drop links I think the car handles perfect.

I put them on last week, Im thinking of removing them as they do look a bit to big and the fact my car is a WRX not a STi.

Its like putting RS Turbo badges on a XR3i.
