Hi James, how much difference did the remap make to the car? Maz is interested in getting his car tek 3'd but needs some friendly persuasion! The car looks much better now that it is back to standard.

regards Banny

Banny,

Loads better after the map mate as you'd expect. Due another fine tune soon. Has Maz still got his cats in?

Charlie,

Not quite stripped out. If you look carefully you'll see a pair of alpines in the back. Left them in for the journey upto Coombe. Hopefully I'll have an Audi A4 TDi soonish with a towhook and a trailer - then I can start getting serious .

Incidentally my fastest lap yesterday was with my eleven stone mate sat next to me, I found having someone in the passenger made the RA feel more balanced and predictable through the esses and bobbys. Having said that it'd be nice to get the car down to under 1200kg - currently at about 1230kg with half a tank. Get rid of the ICE, AC, and the electric pack and I'll be there I'd imagine.

Those are the sort of pictures that all Impreza drivers would like to have of their own cars

Glad you all had a great time

This is a good shot of Dave on an absolute flyer. As we dived past the Evo Dave said "remember, no undertaking in this zone" he then went on to out- brake a Carrera 4 into Quarry and posted a 1.21. To put that into perspective the best time I managed all-day was an early 1.23.

Below 1200Kgs! Lord there'll be nothing left of it after that!

That picture above sums it all up! The scooby always has and always will be one step ahead of the Evo! flame suit on!

Great picture
