Thumbs up BEEF

To all rally fans around the uk.
On saturday me and my marshalls went down to margam park to pay our respects to Michael Park.
We also put several bunches of flowers against the tree and put on the card from all the rally fans and marshals throughtout the uk our deepest regrets.
I hope you all apreciate this and we hope these Co Drivers get more credit for the job they do.
Many thanks Hodgey.

Well done mate nice touch. Still can not get my head around what has happened. It was good to see the boys having the BEEF stickers on their cars at the weekend and Marcus dedicating the rally to him.

My Dad marshalled from Friday until he was told to go home early after the events of Sunday. Apparently another car had gone off the road prior to Martin and Park going through. When my Dad and his fellow marshalls left the stage they came across the other car awaiting to be recovered. The car had been partially stripped and all four wheels had been removed, i'm not joking and no the wheels hadnt been ripped off when it left the stage. My Dad was talking to the crew at the service park and they said it had come to a halt in tact bar a shattered screen and minor cosmetics!!!

It couldn't have been a competing car that went off and was stripped as it was only the first run through the stage and only 4 or 5 cars did it before it was stopped ??

Wasn't the other car that went off one of the Mitsubishi's? I was trying to listen for updates on rally radio in the carpark at Margam but nobody seemed to have any info on the other car. TBH when they announced what had happened to Beef it seemed to pale in comparison anyway.

Well done Hodgey thats a very fitting tribute indeed, excellent!
