Just had my car painted. Its original Black Mica with Fuschia Metal flake.

Ive always loved metal flake on black cars, its a cheap and easy way to originality and many colours can be combined together in the lacquer and by adding a new coat of lacquer ontop you're also going to get a deeper effect to the paintwork that'll polish up amazingly, spot on fella good choice of colour too, i think it looks spot on

you know that black is the hardest to keep clean and no amount of fushia !! flakes is going to change that
but it looks very good and obviously a top job

Hang on then are you local ?? That's not 5 minutes from me.... I had heard of a very good sprayer/bodywork man that was down on the estate and I must have just found who that is.
Does he roll arches by chance ?

Cheers for all the great comments. I always wanted a Black Mica but at the same time I loved really deep purple. So when it came time for me to splash out, I decided to combine the two. Didnt really know how it would turn out, but was suitably impressed when i saw it for the first time.

Dave Matthews works at Unit 6, Pill Farm Ind Est, Caldicot.

Thanks Lee... damn you had a good trip up for the paintwork to be done !

Thanks for that about the arches, I really don't know if I will need them doing but just in case it's good to make some plans in the background so to speak.
