Neighbours award for dumbass parking
#1
So, my neighbours somehow need 4 cars, but regularly have people over who most of the time like normal people park in the road or else where. But no, not this lot, they park it er in the middle of the access drive! To top it off, they were coming out of the house as I inched through the gap..........I looked at them and they were plainly oblivous to the fact they had parked in a ridiculous way........Im guessing they probably never move out of the middle lane, dont signal at roundabouts etc.......BMW drivers.

Borrow a supermarket trolley and be reckless
Either that or stove their doors in with ya size 12's
Would hate to have to get a fire engine or an ambulance through that gap...

I suffer the same problem.
Ignorat ***** have one space in front of their garage, but guests of theirs park behind them...On shared access...Completely blocking access to my drive and garage.
I'm thinking about buying a crappy old car, without need for insurance, MOT, etc. (Private land, you see). And accidently having my foot slip from the clutch/Accelerator stick whilst 'reversing'...
Anyone like to comment on the legality of the above?

Thought...
Howzabout getting the clampers to work in YOUR favour? Contact a clamping company and give them permission to operate on your (shared? Legalities?) land. They'll put the signs up, etc.
You just give them a bell when the offenders dump their cars in the way.
Hmmmm...

Yep we have exactly the same problem. Our neighbours have had 5 cars. All four of the cars on the drive are theirs but at least the Ford KA is parked on the road in this picture. Normally it sits in front of the Renault

It seems to be the way things are going with estate living these days.
We currently have 4 cars (2 clios and rover200 and my scoob) but one of my house members is about to buy a supra so it will be 5 shortly. We do go out of our way to park sensibly be it on our lawn in the dry weather or in reasonable places on the side of the road or curb.
There are 4 other communal spaces by the side of our house but they go very quickly ie get home any later than 5:30pm and they’ll be filled.
The most annoying ppl are those with small drives but with a garage. They park one car on the single car space in front of the garage then the other abandoned (not even on the pavement) on the 90degree blind bend.
I often wonder why ppl both having a crappy little piece of lawn instead of freeing up a useful piece of drive (Just like in NathanL’s pic).
Its even worse at were my missus lives.

LOL @ Nelson15 missing the point!
If you wanna see bad parking, you shoud see my works car park... No lines to mark the spaces + arrogant Germans in lard cars is a recipe for disaster - I'll try and get some photos!

Cheap and reliable answer to your problems
1 x Potato - just bigger than the exhaust. shove it up the tail pipe, and watch when they start it up, (dont park behind it) if its good and tight, bmw engine goes bang. ha ha ha end of a **** staff car.
Please note that i dont advise you do this at home.
In fact its not very nice is it, so dont do it.

I forgot to mention the other day when I was putting my car in the garage one of them said to me "we couldnt do that, out garage has too much rubbish in it"
oh and then the other day, I arrived back from going out to get some takeaway only to find an Audi S3 on the drive ??? Few minutes later one of their friend came out "sorry mate" Well I didnt mind that much, but its obviously MY drive and not theirs, so dont f-ing park on it, you wouldnt use someone elses toothbrush now would you??

Well the teenager around the corner took it one step further recently.
In a brand new Discovery bought by her parents for her 18th Birthday (before she had passed her test) she went out to the pub with her boyfriend (who was driving it). He got arseholed, so she drove back - did fine until she got into the avenue, then, at speed, lost it completely - drove over her neighbours garden straight into their garage writing of their car inside, and causing a power blackout.
So two cars written off, no insurance, and the girl was due to go to uni to study law - oops.
How i laughed

**** that, do what i did and call a friendly bobby who politely tells them to move the fooking thing now.
Some t#rt kept parking her car near my drive (still p#ssed me off)so the friendly bobby (Again)gets her details and goes to her house to inform her to remove the car, only to find her husband thinks she is at work (on nights)she had been leaving it there every night for a week, her husband came and took the car and when she arrived back early in the morning (No car)i gladly told her that her husband had come to collect it,to say the blood drained was an understatement.
My final words to her where ' I warned you to move it'.
It made my day.
