Top car, how many beer tokens would you have to part with to own one as nice as that?

Hmmmm, beer tokens you ask!? Dunno, if beer tokens alone could tear me away from my baby!

In terms of comparison to the P1, well really there's no comparison matey. The P1 is a rapid, comfortable car for everyday use, but apart from the lovely flat four melody, I found it very dissapointing compared with the Evo VI that I had owned previously. To drive, despite it's speed, I found the P1 too ordinary and unexciting to drive - dare I say 'SOFT'?

The Evo on the other hand is a totally different experience, it's basically a no compromise, no sellout, rally car, with sublime grip and handling and an overall ability that never ceases to amaze me.

As soon as I got the P1, I longed to be in the Evo again. There's something about the rawness that is simply addictive, and that cannot be matched by the later incarnations - more capable they may be, but the experience is not the same..

You should try one mate, you never know, you might like it

Later,

Mart.

Gold wheels!? Nah mate, gold wheels belong on a scoob - would look out of place on a Evo. I think the dark grey just add to the already aggresive stance.

IMHO anyway

That's just gorgeous Martin.

As for gold wheels...I don't think they look good on anything apart from a Clio Williams. They cheapen Scoobs and Evo's alike IMHO.

cheers m8 for the good answer and by the by, it is a fantastic looking car. keep the wheels or go for something completely different!

one question though...do evo drivers wave to each other like MOST scoob owners do?

Have you painted your Super L's mate?

They look darker than anthracite, almost black. Stealth!

Sweet.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Yep, the wheels are 19" Super Leg's, repainted in dark grey (almost black).

Cool, I'd probably aspire to have one of these instead of a P1 if the insurance wasn't nearly 50% more......

thats a sweet looking car

intresting that you say the p1 is to soft, and prefere the evo for its full on rally slag style

have u ever tried a jdm sti?
how does that compare with the evo
you must rember that a p1 imo is a Sti5 wich has been softend for uk roads, i could fancey a evo myself as my next car, or maybe a skyline, or ive been monitoring the prices of lancia delta intergrale evo3`s quite a bit

nice car anyways

Very nice!

A close freind of mine has just sold his MY97 uk spec Scooby and bought an Evo 6 in the same colour as that!
The drive is pure evil, even in standard form.
