Agree with Mark - need close-up of those brakes please. I know they were concept a short while ago but didn't realise they were in production...

Or are they a one-off fabrication? Do they work? Better? Would you rely on them?

Comments - thanks

Sorry for the delay, haven't been on line for a while ...
The rim mounted disks are available as a kit, wheel, discs, calipers and brackets.
They retain for about 1500, but my mate always does a good deal ....
The bike can be seen on display at F1 Moto opposite the Texaco garage near Brands Hatch.
Ask for Nev and he will show you around it.

Wink

steve,

"daylight".... you are kidding I assume!

anyway i'm still 20yrds of the appex in the top pick so loads more lean to go. other pick is a very fast left so not much lean needed.

i can assure you my toe sliders get used up quick and im running promach rear sets jacked right up as well as an ohlins shock with increased ride hight!!!!

So there..."daylight" the cheek of it

'cept you're doing 30mph, on full lock, hanging off the bike as far as physically possible

Ian E: nice bike - I can recommend ohlins front & back on the VTR, pipe, jet & k&n gives 110 on the dyno - 65ft/lb at 3250rpm. Turns your vtr into a 996 eater and stops the fronts skipping every time you look at the brake

Anyone going to donnington on saturday 1st ?

jon,

its an R1, it doesnt do less than 50mph

the clip-ons are pushed forward to get weight over the front, makes it look like full lock if you cant see the other clip-on.

tell Haga not to hang off

cant please some people

You probably all "ride" sportsbike as you see them in the glossy magazines.

not having a go or anything, but how many of you who "ride" would classify yourselves as bikers ?

This is aimed at all but "Modrapheniac"

Mods have a different lifestyle alltogether.
