PICS OF RED SCOOBYS
#2
Scooby Senior
you had to ask m8
with nu side protection strips and b4 i had them, pic taken in april + my scoobt plate!!! lol
you mean you have not seen these b4!???? lol
everyone else has.
lol
hav to say Red is not the best colour! when it comes to re-spray on body work, get it under orange street lights and every panel looks a differant shade of red.
anything plastic on the car ie Scoop/air intakes/spoiler etc, change differant colour over time!!!
looks good polished up though
Phil

So there are actually other people out there with red scoobs then?! Went to Bentley yesterday - a lot of cars there (DBMs and Silvers obviously) but only two red cars; a flat red sport and my red mica...
Bit of a crap pic I'm afraid:

Andre,
Like it!
Looks very smart, I ntoice the P1 chin spoiler, how did you get that? Of real interest is the bonnet vents a la 22b, where did you get them from, are they of good quality and how much?

Doesn't the sport have the standard side and rear skirts? If it does, then just get 'em sprayed up - that's what I had done on my car. I think, cosmetically speaking, it's one of the best things you can do to the car; coded skirts make the car look a lot lower...
If you're after parts then try

simon,
well my car looks like the sport but its very very slow 1.6i LX. its getting a makeover, and eventually a new engine!!
skirts is something im missing. but all scoobys iv cn look so much betr with skirts. as u say, it looks lower which is always good.
so i need to find me a set, along with a new high spoiler, and most importantly a turbo bonnet as my bonnet is plain.
cheers.

Me again too! I see you're planning on doing up your car with a view to upgrading the engine one day - for the money you're gonna spend have you considered flogging the 1.6 and getting an old turbo? Prices are well down at the mo' and it might be cheaper than doing up your car; an early turbo with slightly above average miles might go for between 5 and 6 grand, and you could probably get about 2-3 grand for yours. All depends on your budget I guess as there's petrol, insurance and petrol costs on top of it too....

i get ur thinking but there are a few probs. basically - INSURANCE!!
im only just 19 and to get insured on a turbo is about £4000!!
i just dont know. see im gona spend £ooo's doing up my car, and then i was gona change the engine when im 21. is that a bad idea??
i thought i could make the car look smart first, then get the engine sorted.
