Thanks for all the nice replies.
To answer the queries:
I removed the foglights on the white one because my original aim was to strip it out (interioir and all) and save weight wherever I could. Also aimed to get more cold air in the front.
The headlamp washers were moved to the bottom more as a gimmick than anything. I'd never seen it done and i never used the headlamp washers, so when I had the bumper resprayed after hacking half of it apart for the FMIC, I asked them to move the washer jets. Might not do any good but won't do any harm and it looks different.
The gearbox on the white one is back out I'm afraid. Problem with 5th gear. It blew up on Saturday. Now got a Link fitted to and the car absolutely flies, especially with the short box. The Link has made the turbo spin up sooo much quicker, there's virtually no lag and it was peaking at 1.6 bar with no problem! (well it did)
Running much more advance now and boy can you tell! I was never a big fan of ECU swapping. Thought it was very expensive - but boy! is it worth it! DO IT!
And before anyone says "not surprised the box went then" - it was on its way before the Link was fitted, so it's definately nothing to do with that.
Both cars are lowered. the white one with full Bilsteins and the green with just MRT springs.
The wheels are 17" BK238 in black stainless chrome. Expensive and if you scratch them, you are in ****! but very easy to clean and I've NEVER seen them on another car.
The bonnet scoops are from Stuart Knight. You can see them on his website www.skcl.demon.co.uk and on www.jap-innovations.co.uk
Phew!
Cheers
Rich

What is it about white cars and being off the road all the time?
Not got antilag. Don't really need it actually no, the turbo spins up so quick I've got a bar of boost by 3000-3200 rpm which ain't bad for a TD05. Especially seeing as it then goes on to 1.6 bar!
Cheers and see you soon

Thanks Rob.
Hi John,
Not sure what the problem is, will find out later this week.
Hopefully just a selector fork problem.
Cheers for the offer though, I'll let you know.
