From the track day at Jurby:
Are you sure that's what a P1 should sound like?
More action on the track:
The weather was fantastic, and it almost seemed like a waste to spend the whole weekend driving. Almost.
On the beach:
Hehe... we know, that's why we're here!
Getting in some practise for Sunday morning:
Clearly the new shape isn't to everyone's taste
Photo shoot at the grandstand:
Off exploring the island again:
Sunday morning, ready for the off:
Relaxing with a cuppa afterwards:
Got a puncture? Never mind, just swap wheels with someone else - nobody will ever notice!
Bob was a crack shot with the rocket balloons:
...but not as good as Sandy!
Can Manx balloons fly? Sandy and Boomer think so
The award for the smallest Scooby went to this one, found on the face of a 20p!
John enjoys a drink with David Cretney, the Manx Minister for Tourism:
Numptie looks nervous as Steph blows bubbles:
Let's not forget Dixie, the chap with the useful contacts who made the whole event possible:
Scooby drivers are a friendly bunch - looking forward to coming back next year!
Andy.

and one DAMN fine looking camera kit
Nice photos Andy. Richard (Swiss Elise) managed to get some really nice shots of the island which he gave me copies off which was good as I didn't get much chance to take any.

Dan: much as I wish it were a cute little pocket-sized box of tricks, sadly it isn't, as those who saw me carting a backpack full of gear all over the island will attest. It's a Canon EOS D30 digital SLR, since replaced by the similar D60 which you can read about here.
Ian: Thanks - takes one to know one! (For the benefit of the uninitiated, Ian's car looks exactly like mine )

Great photos, our wheels look good, proof that part of our car made it over the mountain!
As you say looking forward to next year, must be a good camera, we all look sober
