Well naffed off. Insurance with £700 excess expires tomorrow when I change to a £250 excess! The young ****** riding the motorbike came off and injured himself but managed to get back up and took off on the bike - a 125cc thing. Got his number so we'll see how this one pans out. His petrol tank took the brunt of the impact while he tried to undertake me at a roundabout today. I'm amazed at the damage to my car.

Hey ho, back to the bodyshop again!

Sorry to hear about your trouble Jerome. Perhaps all that talking on Sunday about body shops was a bad omen.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Not yet as I have been told that the stolen motorbike owner's insurance should cover the damage IF the motorbike is found! Failing that I will have to get it dome myself an that is with a £700 excess! I am awaiting the first quote so I wonder what it will be - New bumper, wing, undertray, splashguard, Oz Superleggerra plus sraying etc. My guess = £1200? So, I am waiting for news of a recovered motorbike before I commit to repairs just yet.

Cheers

I dont think you will have to pay a penny. There is a fund set up by the insurance companies ( I think ) that pays out if you get hit by an uninsured driver. If the bike was stolen it would be uninsured. Speak to your insurers, or the insurance ombudsman

Sorry to hear about that m8, you should have run the little ******'s legs over!!!

Just wondered if you might be willing to let me have the bumper for a little project (if you get a new one of course!!)

Please feel free to mail me as per my profile.

Cheers

Cheers guys, hopefully you're right Rab.

Iain, I shall bear you in mind but the bumper was ripped fron its mountings to the front frame so it may not be thta much use to you.

You're not putting it on a Nova by any chance?

I can sort the mountings, that's no problem m8.

Nova LOL, there's probably some muppet that's done that . It's going on another scooby.

Cheers
