Cool

All,

I promised I would post some pics of the new car when I could find some free time. Here they are, before & after pics so you can judge the success of the transformation for yourselves.

All I have to do now is get 1000 miles on the clock so I can start to give her some serious stick. Watch this space...

I think so too. How much did this little project cost per chance?

Just remembered, the changes to the car are as follows:

- TSL Group N rear box and centre section decat
- ITG Filter
- Aero Kit all round
- Set of Forged alloy 18's with Toyo Proxy's (the difference in handling that this combination makes is mind blowing. I have gone from wheels that weighed approx 13Kg to these weighing 7Kg)
- Lexus Style Rear Clusters
- Smoked indicators
- GRP Wing Vents
- Boot Spoiler Extenders.
- Electric window lifts linked to the alarm/door closure (means I can shut the windows by just firing the alarm fob. Cue for a song,...."Lazy")

Moles Dad: Thanks, appreciate the comment.

Big Goon: I did think of putting something else on the boot eg a Nascar type wing. Went against it as in the flesh the spoiler lift looks good. I alo did not want the car looking too much like something out of the Fast & The Furious!

As for Black looking better than Blue; borrowing a John Mcenroe expression; "You cannot be serious!!" :-)

Cheers, and enjoy your cars.

Very tidy. The rear light clusters - are they LED lights??? Does the STi have front xenon lights?

J BEE,

No the rear lights are not leds, they are bulbs. Don't think the headlamps are Xenons, will check the handbook and let you know.

At the moment I'm having too much fine driving it to get to the lights:-)

Scottish M,

Thanks mate, much appreciated. Next step is to get to the 1K service and then sit back and enjoy the car.

Chip,

I was surprised at the colour. Although I had driven several before I bought one, the colour really did not strike me until mine came through.

I appreciate the colour even more now after the Wax Wizard's magic over the car yesterday. With the STi you have to see it in the metal to appreciate it. I don't think photographs do it justice.

Enjoy your car.

Brought this back to enable a view of the wheels to be seen on different cars. They look equally as good on Mattell's car (see his thread on this forum).

They make a significant difference to the handling. More responsve steering, great grip & traction, very communicative setup. No longer worried at hiting an unseen pothole at speed and wrecking my wheels as these bu$$ers are pretty strong.

The ICE is now in (sorry no pics yet).
