Just out of interest what was the cost of the track day? I'm going to arrange a track day for sws some time this year. You and your mates are more than welcome. Do you live far? We used to do loads of track days at llandow with the kit cars but they were all arranged via kit car mag.

Mines running 360bhp with performance friction discs and pads and bc coilovers, the black one is around 430.
The day cost £95 which is quite good value compared to Combe. Fuel is the killer used 60 litres in 70 miles on track
I live just over 2 hours away right by thruxton,

Did you drive home then? I'm so lucky I live 20 mins from castle Combe and 30 mins from llandow best of both worlds. Thats why the kit car was good I didn't hardly use any fuel but front left tyres were shot how were yours? Tell you what yours looked very close to the black one on the track so well done but they were both spot on all day.

Yes I drove it home 120 miles and made it with no problems.
My tyres survived quite well because it was so wet.
I can tell when Chris is on high boost because he starts pulling car lengths on me out of the corners, he also has more grip with 255 wide tyres but we always have a laugh on track together.
