I have a PSI3 ecu data monitor.

This morning i switched on my ignition and the screen came up with a load on numbers, letters etc. It never even came up with the welcome stuff which it does normaly.

I unpluged the unit and now it just has a blank yellow screen when it comes on.


Can you reset the unit?

nope.. either the screen has gone or the rom chip has come loose (has done in mine before).. you'll need to take it apart though and make sure the chip is pushed home firmly in the board (its about 2cm square) if that doesn't work then try pm'ing spi3.. good luck on that..

check the cables too..

psi3 upgraded the software on my unit recently and I found them very helpful !

rang them and found him very helpfull.

sent it away to get it repaired.
