Default both headlight bulbs blow same time?

Just wondering if this is common, as its just happened to my MY99, and after checking the relays and fuses I checked both bulbs and found they'd both gone??

Yes, mate, it's very common. Don't ask me WHY it happens, but you're about the fourth person to ask that question this year.

They don't blow at the same time, it is just that you didn't notice when the first one went out.

Good point, one of mine went out driving down France, you certainly don't notice it until something else happens. I saw mine when I parked opposite a window with the headlights on. Driving around town you'd never realise..........witness the number of folk with one light out
