They're reckoned to be sealed units, although you CAN remove them from the car.

You could then tip out the water, and place the light into your airing cupborad to dry. Takes a few days

Once it's dry, put it in a plastic bag and give it 12 hours in the freezer before re-fitting it. Cold air can't hold moisture, so less chance of condensation.

My FIRST point of call would be to find out WHERE the water is getting in.

Are you sure the light hasn't been pinholed by a rock?
Check the rim seal all the way round.
Were the rear seals in place?

Nope, not difficult, three iirc 10mm bolts per light, but you do need a socket and an extension bar to get at them.

While they are out, why not replace the stock bolts with stainless, see Yell.com the UK's local search engine - search for UK businesses under "bolt and nut stockists".

Just re-read your second post: when you get them off, you'll probably see some rubber drain tubes to allow any condensation to drain away. the water most likely went up one, but DO check for pinholes in the glass and the seal.

I got water in mine during the floods last summer. Whilst Alcazar's advice sounds good, you could just try leaving them to drain and dry naturally -- mine are... slowly!
