2 x Mafs in a GC8 engine?
Hi, i've been told that the "big" maf needs replacing in my RB5, is this a Subaru only part & is it a part that is able to be replaced without needing any setting up after?
i.e can i change this part myself without paying a garage for the pleasure of them doing it?
if the part is not subaru only, who's a good supplier to buy from?
Many thanks

yes you can do it yourself, unplug electrical connector undo nuts take out old maf put in new maf do up nuts and reconnect electrical connector, 10 minutes work at the most and it wont need setting up or mapping afterwards, just disconnect the battery and do an ecu reset, that should sort it

That one has already been replaced and i'm being told that it's the other one that needs replacing. if so where in the induction system is it located?
